Founded through a $400 million philanthropic commitment by Walter and Maria Schroeder, Schroeder Ambulatory Centre is expanding access to OHIP-covered outpatient surgical, clinical, and diagnostic services across Ontario.
Schroeder Ambulatory Centre is a state-of-the-art, non-profit, healthcare facility that exists to reduce peoples’ pain, increase their mobility and quality of life, and strengthen Ontario’s public health system.


Schroeder Ambulatory Centre is Canada’s largest Integrated Community Health Services Centre (ICHSC), purpose-built to strengthen Ontario’s public healthcare system.
Located in Richmond Hill, the seven-storey, 200,000 square-foot facility provides a wide range of outpatient healthcare services in a modern, patient-focused environment. Areas of care include:
