Empowering Students and Families in Winnipeg’s North End

“My friend told me about the Electrical Engineering Technology program, and I knew instantly that it was what I wanted to do. When I heard the scholarship would cover my tuition and expenses, I was speechless — I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.”

“It was beyond our wildest dreams… I couldn’t even believe I would have such an opportunity to get the scholarship at VFS… My family and I are so proud and grateful.”

“I want the world for my kids. I want the world paved in gold for my kids. To a mother, education is everything. Before (outreach worker) Mr. Rossi began working with us, my children’s school attendance was really bad. It was a struggle.”

“These awards mean so much to me because they give me the freedom to pursue my passion without worrying about money.”
