Schroeder Foundation Sponsors Nickelodeon Pitch

During the 2023 school year, post-high animation students in the Sisler CREATE program were invited by Nickelodeon Animation to visit their studios and pitch projects. After learning of this opportunity, the Schroeder Foundation stepped up to fund the majority of the trip. Thanks to this donation, 12 CREATE students travelled to Los Angeles to visit Disney Animation Studios, Sony Pictures and Nickelodeon Animation. The students met with their mentors, pitched their animation projects to executives, and connected with some of the world’s most renowned animation artists. CREATE has worked with Nickelodeon since 2018, receiving mentorship and masterclasses from top animators and producers. This trip allowed students to solidify their relationships with the studio and meet potential future employers.
